ENGELSLIEDER

is a ballet by Stefano Giannetti to the newely-composed music of Alois Bröder and Jan Paul Werge. The first part is based on the story of Iseult aux Blanche Mains from the Tristan legend and explores the feelings of two lovers and a woman trying to take the other’s place. The second part is loosely evoking images of different kinds of angels to the beautiful airy remixes, from Bach to Billy Joel, composed and sung by Jan Paul Werge.
